Privacy Policy — HelpMeTrain

Effective date: February 11, 2026

HelpMeTrain (“the App”) helps you view fitness and activity information, such as step counts and Active Energy, on your iPhone.

We do not require an account and we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.

If you grant permission, the App may read certain data from Apple Health (HealthKit), such as:

  • Steps
  • Active Energy (calories burned)

How it’s used: This data is used only to display your activity in the App (for example, dials/graphs and daily indicators).

Where it’s stored: By default, this data is processed on your device. The App does not send your Health data to our servers.

You can revoke Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → HelpMeTrain.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your Health data with advertisers or data brokers.

If the App offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment details (like credit card numbers). Apple may provide limited information such as purchase status to unlock features.

The App stores certain information locally on your device using Apple Core Data in order to provide history, charts, and app functionality. This may include daily summaries and derived values based on Health data (for example, step totals and Active Energy totals).

All stored information remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

By default, this locally stored data is retained until you delete it. You can remove it by:

  • deleting the App from your device (which deletes the App’s local Core Data store), and/or
  • using any in-app “Reset/Delete Data” option if available.

Health data itself remains in Apple Health and is controlled by you. You can also revoke Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → HelpMeTrain.
